East Newport from River c. 1900
Good clear view of the area around the old pier around 1900. On the extreme left are the washing lines for the flats in the old granary, and the gasworks chimney dominates the scene. McKellar the painter’s name is easy to see from the Fifie, and going towards the west, first Chapel House, then Seamills House up on the High Road.
