Cupar Road: St Fillan's Place
Two postcards of this version of this much photographed view of Cupar Road. This was sometimes St Fillan’s Place and sometimes St Phillan’s Place. Wallace’s shoe shop on the right was there from 1900 until the 1960s. On the left, worth noting, are the two upper bay windows, and the flagpole. The upper building here was the unionist hall at the time of the photograph, and presumably they liked to fly the flag occasionally.
