Part of Woodhaven Terrace had only a single storey at that time, converted to two storeys a year later to house workers from the Wormit Foundry who cast the supporting pillars for the Tay Bridge. The training ship Mars can be seen in the background. St Fort Estate Granary at Woodhaven This building was originally the St Fort Estate granary. It was used as accommodation for some of the men building the Tay Rail Bridge, then from 1883 onwards it was used as a hospital for the boys on the Mars training ship.
