A painting by Helen Wallace of the railway bridge over Cupar Road just before the small turn-off leading up to dual carriageway. The bridge carried the line from East Newport into Tayfield estate, and it was demolished in 1980s.
For over 100 years Cupar Road has been home to a huge range of shops and businesses, with many much loved favourites among them.

Lovely photograph of what appears to be a rather grand event in the Blyth Hall, probably in the 1950s. Unfortunately we don't know the occasion, but there are a good few Union Jacks to be seen and we wonder whether it was perhaps a special ball to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Coronation in 1953.

After World War II Sandy helped maintain close links with the Norwegian servicemen who had been based at Woodhaven.
