A complimentary dinner was held on 5 December 1934 in the small Blyth Hall to honour ex-Provost J T Young (Provost from 1931-1934). He is standing 3rd from the left and Provost Scrymgeour is standing in the centre. Other guests are magistrates, councillors, officials and their wives.
