These two photographs show some of the house staff at Tayfield House around 1900, and a page boy from around 1870. Until World War II a large staff would help to run the house.

This is a Victorian bee house, beautifully restored in 2020. It is one of only five known in Scotland, and probably the only wooden one. It has now been listed as a building of historical importance.
