Wormit School class group early 1920s. Betty Rankine is 4th from the right in the 2nd front row. Large ribbons were clearly 'in' that year for little girls.
Wormit School final year report for Betty Rankine in 1931. Betty was then aged 14 and this was the school leaving age in 1930s, unless the pupil was going on to higher education. Such a fine report would no doubt help Betty find good employment.
