In 2017, Newport History Group brought together a group of volunteers to stitch canvas work panels (tapestries) of significant local buildings and locations. A total of 30 panels were eventually made, and they are exhibited from time to time in the village; the first exhibition was at the Newport Summer Festival in June 2018. The project was realised with financial assistance from Fife Council Locality Fund.
Images of three further panels have still to be uploaded to this page. Unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions, they could not be photographed at this time.
