A 2nd class single ticket from East Newport station to Dundee. The fare was 10d - 10 old pence, the equivalent of 4p today! It is dated on the back 3 May 1969, so the actual day when the Newport railway closed. Whether this was used on the last train, we'll never know.

Newscutting on the 50th anniversary of the ending of the Tayport rail service. From Sunday 22 May 1966 rail traffic would terminate at East Newport station to allow construction of the dual carriageway to the new road bridge.

A newscutting from August 1966 describing a dinner held in the Brig 0' Tay to celebrate the Fifies, and to bid them farewell. This song, Farewell to the Fifies, was written by Mrs May Gilruth and performed by Ron Caird.
Newscutting reporting a fashion show held in the Blyth Hall in February 1964. The show was organised by the local branch of the Unionist and Liberal Association, and followed on from a coffee morning held that morning.
