Photograph taken at Waterstone Park, Newport on 17 October 1908 before the replay of the semi-final against St Andrews Violet. Wormit won the replay 1-0. Wormit’s pitch was not suitable for a cup tie, so Newport very kindly swapped pitches that day and played their league match on the Wormit pitch.
