Wormit Boating Club, Rowing
Wormit Boating Club at Woodhaven was originally a rowing club. In recent years rowing has again become popular and the club has a thriving rowing section. Two St Ayles skiffs have been built by members of the community. The first, Catalina (in memory of the sea planes of the Norwegian sea planes of 333 Squadron based at Woodhaven) was launched on 21 September 2014. The Flying Boat was funded by Ralph Webster in memory of his father, Randolph Webster, and was launched on 22 March 2015.
